A hypertonic solution is ‘saltier’ than regular saline to gently draw liquid out of the sinuses and help break down this mucus. The higher salt concentration also helps with severe swelling and mucus build up.

FESS Sinu-Cleanse® is a non-medicated nasal and sinus wash. FESS Sinu-Cleanse® consists of pre-mixed dry powder sachets. When mixed with warm water, each 6.3 g sachet will produce 200mL of alkaline buffered, mild hypertonic saline wash.
